On 29 June, 2022, the NOU representatives visited Yerevan Boarding House № 1.
On June 24, 2022, the National Ozone Unit of Armenia in cooperation with Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating Engineering Association of Armenia (RAHE) organized a commemoration event dedicated to World Refrigeration Day under the theme “Cooling Keeps Food Fresh”.
On 11 June 2022, the National Ozone Unit of Armenia organized a study tour to the «Amberd» Ozone-Measuring Meteorological Station of “Hydrometeorology and Monitoring   Center”   SNCO of ME of RA for students studying «Green Customs» in the «Customs Administration» master's course of Yerevan State University of Economics.
The National Ozone Unit of the Ministry of Environment has launched a series of awareness-raising activities for children.
On March 30-31, 2022, the first stakeholder hybrid meeting under “Armenia KIP Preparation'' Project took place in Tsakhkadzor. The meeting was personally attended by Mr. Halvart Koeppen, Coordinator of the Montreal Protocol Network for Europe and Central Asia, OzonAction, who  introduced the participants to the Kigali Amendment, and goals, capacity and topicality of the project in his opening remarks.
On March 26-27, 2022,  a training of RAC specialists was organized on the topic of “Manual Dismantling of Refrigerators and Air Conditioners” jointly with the Educational Center NGO «For Equal Rights»  within the framework of the «Institutional Strengthening and Capacity Building» Project.
The National Ozone Unit of the Ministry of Environment, with the support of the Deputy Prime Minister's Office, launched a series of activities on March 17, 2022, in Hrazdan, Kotayk province, aimed at data collection on HFCs and HFC-based equipment.
On March 15, 2022, the Ministry of Environment, within the framework of international commitments under the Montreal Protocol, initiated a comparative analysis of the actual imports, exports and transit shipments of ODSs and HFCs, and import and export licenses issued by the Ministry in 2021.
The Republic of Armenia ratified the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol in 2019, undertaking a commitment to phase down the use of HFCs (F-gases) in Armenia.
On 16-17 December 2021 the Stakeholder Meeting of the National Ozone Unit of Armenia was held.
