About us

The Ozone Programme has been implemented in the Republic of Armenia since 2005 to address problems enshrined in the Vienna Convention and the Montreal Protocol. The program operates under the coordination of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia and with the professional assistance of the following UN implementing agencies: UNEP, UNIDO and UNDP. The program ensures the timely and proper implementation of international commitments of Armenia, continuous harmonization of domestic legislation with the international one, including the EAEU legislation, growth of professional and institutional capacities within the country, opening up opportunities of the vocational education system, providing professional advice to economic operators in the field, etc.
