
On April 21, 2023, at the initiative of the National Ozone Unit of the Ministry of Environment, a working meeting was organized with the aim of improving the functionality of the “Single Application” system. This system is responsible for granting licenses and permits related to the import and export of ozone-depleting substances and hydrofluorocarbons, among other licenses.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Karen Martirosyan (virtually), the Chief Customs Inspector of the Information Technology Department of the State Revenue Committee, Mr. Marat Smbatyan, the Information Technology Coordinator of the Ministry of Environment, representatives of the Departments of Waste and Air Emissions Management, Bioresources Management and the National Ozone Unit.
During the discussion, a number of problems faced while operating the system were identified, and the possible solutions were outlined.
