On 21 January, 2020 a series of three training courses was launched at the Regional Center for Continuing Education and Certification for HVAC&R specialists.

The training is carried out within the framework of the EU's Real Alternatives programme, which covers the safety, efficiency, reliability and containment of low GWP alternative refrigerants – Carbon Dioxide, Ammonia, Hydrocarbon and low flammables (HFOs and R32). Parts 3 and 4 of  EN 378 standard, which came into force in Armenia in 2019, are covered by the training programme as well.

At the end of the course participants who successfully pass the test will receive  the international certificate.
