On October 21, 2025, as part of the “Inventory of Banks of Used or Unwanted Controlled Substances” project, a technical discussion was held at the Jacobian Environmental Center of the American University of Armenia.
The meeting of the Europe and Central Asia Regional Network was held in Yerevan on October 7–9, 2025.
On September 17, 2025, a series of awareness sessions dedicated to the International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer were launched at the Armavir Regional State College, with first-year students from the regional state colleges of Armavir and Yerevan participating. The next session took place on September 18 at the Ararat Regional State College.
On September 2, 2025, within the framework of the “Institutional Strengthening and Capacity Building” project implemented jointly with the Ministry of Environment and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, a meeting entitled “Transit of Controlled Substances through the Territory of the Republic of Georgia” was held with the participation of Georgian colleges.
On August 12, 2025, Aparan, declared the "Youth Capital" of the year, hosted a series of events with the joint support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia and the UN Office in Armenia, including panel discussions, an exhibition and various competitions.
On August 11, the Aarhus Center of “Armhydromet” SNCO hosted a workshop titled “Solutions to Environmental Problems through the Vision of Youth.”
On June 26, 2025, the National Ozone Unit, in collaboration with the Refrigeration, Air conditioning and Heating Engineering Association (RAHEA), organized an annual event dedicated to World Refrigeration Day within the framework of the "Institutional Strengthening and Capacity Building" project, jointly implemented with UNIDO.
Ahead of the summer 1,500 posters and 2,000 labels were developed jointly with the Ministry fo Health and printed in the framework of the "Institutional Strengthening and Capacity Building" project, implemented by the Ministry of Environment in collaboration with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). The materials aim to raise parental awareness about the harmful effects of ultraviolet (UV) radiation and to promote the protection of children from sun exposure.
On May 25, 2025, an interactive event was held at the preschool educational institution in the Goravan community, using the materials developed by the Ministries of Environment and Health, under the “Institutional Strengthening and Capacity Building” project implemented jointly with UNIDO.
On May 20, 2025, a coordination meeting was held at the UN Office in Armenia, attended by UNIDO Country Representative Mr. Zhirayr Edilyan, representatives from the UNDP Gender Equality Portfolio, Armavir and Ararat Regional State Colleges, NOU experts and the President of the RAHE Armenian Association.
