The law on “Environmental education” of RA aims at creating the unified national system of an environmental education by providing continued environmental trainings from pre-school level to wider population. The most important part of this unified system is the environmental trainings at schools, which should be directed to the formulation of environmental consciousness and behavior of younger generation.
The Project “ODS Alternatives Survey” to be jointly implemented by the National ozone Unit of the Ministry of Nature Protection of Armenia and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) was launched at the first Stakeholders Meeting in Tsaghkadzor, Kotayk Province on 14-15 March 2016.   
On November 20, 2015 the National Ozone Unit under the Ministry of Nature Protection of RA, with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) organized a stakeholder meeting on “Preparation of Second Phase of HCFC Phase-Out project”. The meeting was attended by representatives from respective bodies, business sector and experts. 
Another training course of 20 customs officers from Ararat, Shirak, Syunik and Gugark Customs Houses and customs posts took place on 19 October 2015.

On July 14, 2015 the National Ozone Unit of Armenia launched a series of awareness trainings in various regions of Armenia for children of pre-school institutions.
The Annual Meeting of the Regional Ozone Network of Europe and Central Asia (ECA) took place in Yerevan, Armenia on 26-28 May 2015.
