On March 3, 2018 Ms. Liana Ghahramanyan, the coordinator of the National Ozone Unit of the Ministry of Nature Protection of RA, visited Aghavnadzor where the National Scout Movement of Armenia (NSMA) was holding an “A level” training for 28 young scouts. On December 22-23, 2017 the Wrap-up Meeting 2017 and the Stakeholder meeting in the framework of HCFC Phase-out project (Phase II) were held back to back in Tsaghkadzor by the National Ozone Unit under the Ministry of Nature Protection of RA

Joint 11th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Vienna Convention for the Protection of the Ozone Layer (COP 11) and 29th Meeting of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer (MOP 29) took place in Montreal, on November 20-24.  

From November 6 to 14, 2017, the Ministry of Nature Protection of RA with the support of the National Ozone Unit has conducted demo-lessons in environmental education that were focused on the establishment of the "Young Naturalists "club, initiated by the Ministry.

The series of events dedicated to the International Ozone Day 2017 were held in various venues on 14-16 September, 2017. The first event was organized for 14 participants of the painting contest titled “The Role of the Ozone Layer in the Environment” which took place during the period of 25 March – 20 May 2017. UNIDO Country representative A. Simonyan and the National Ozone Unit team welcomed all the participants from Aregnazan school and Gasparyan Art Studio and their parents at the State Museum of Nature and presented the significance of the International Ozone Day, the importance of the ozone layer protection and other related issues.

nternational Photo Contest dedicated to climate change and protection of the ozone layer was held from July 10 to September 11, 2017 by UNDP Uzbekistan in close cooperation with national and international partners. In total 104 photos were received in "OZONE LAYER AND I" category.

The working meeting of the National Ozone Unit under the Ministry of Nature Protection of RA was held in Tsaghkadzor on February 13-14, 2017 and covered such topics as the recent developments in the field of ozone layer protection, particularly adoption of the Kigali Amendment in 2016, activities performed by the National Ozone Unit last year, as well as the working plan for 2017.

ODS Alternatives Survey Second Stakeholder Consultation was held on December 23-24, 2016 at Alpina Hotel in Tsaghkadzor back to back with the Closing Meeting of the Ministry of Nature Protection of RA attended by about 160 participants from the Ministry of Nature Protection,

On November 4th, 2016 the National Ozone Unit under the Ministry of Nature Protection of RA visited N162 kindergarten of Yerevan to conduct an awareness seminar for the kids.
