On May 29, 2024, the launch event was held at ibis Yerevan Center for two projects to be jointly implemented with UNEP.
On May 24-28, 2024, the National Ozone Unit organized a series of awareness events as part of the SunChild International Environmental Festival.
On April 19, 2024, an introductory course on the "Green Customs" initiative was held at the State Revenue Committee's Training Center for about 20 customs officers.
On February 23, 2024, a round table discussion was held in the Ibis Yerevan Center.
Taking into account the changes made to the Law “On the Protection of the Ozone Layer” NO-398-N, adopted on December 11, 2023, we are pleased to present to you the main provisions stipulated by these amendments:
On December 11, 2023, a round table discussion was held in the Ibis Yerevan Center under the "Preparation of the Kigali Implementation Plan" Project (KIP).
On November 23, 2023, the Government  of the Republic of Armenia adopted the Resolution which introduced amendments to the Resolution N 591 of May 17, 2007, extending the deadline for submission of applications for individual import quota of HFCs until December 15, 2023 on an exceptional basis. Individual quotas are allocated in accordance with the adopted procedure, whereunder entrepreneurs submit quota applications to the competent body.
On November 20, 2023, the National Ozone Focal Point Ms. Liana Ghahramanyan held a meeting with the 1st year students of the Master's program of the Faculty of Law, Yerevan State University under the subject "International Environmental Law".
On November 13-15, 2023, representatives of UNIDO Headquarters, Mr. Fukuya Iino and Mrs. Victoria Kotlubei, were in Armenia on an official visit with the purpose to get to know the existing structures in the field of cooling and air conditioning, sectoral organizations, representatives of the RAHEA association, state-of-the-art technologies used in Armenia and the trends of their application.
On November 2, 2023, the National Ozone Unit of the Ministry of Environment organized a working meeting with the Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating Engineering Association of Armenia (RAHEА).
