On May 2 and 6, 2025, events were held at Yerevan and Armavir State Regional Colleges, attended by the representatives of the National Body for Standardization and Metrology, RAHEA, NOU experts, college faculty, and students of the "Refrigeration Systems" program, as well as "Consumer Product Quality Expertise", "Commodity Science" and other related departments.

Presentations were delivered to students on the importance of standards and their application, and the handbook "Standardization in the Field of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning" was provided afterwards. The handbook was developed in collaboration with the National Body for Standardization and Metrology as part of the "Institutional Strengthening and Capacity Building" program, implemented by the Ministry of Environment and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).

Within the framework of the Kigali HFC Implementation Plan Project also implemented with UNIDO, packages of seven standards related to the refrigeration and air conditioning sector were procured and provided to the colleges for inclusion and application in the "Refrigeration Systems" curriculum.
