On 9-10 April, 2018 the National Ozone Unit participated in awareness seminars held by the Ministry of Nature Protection of RA at Jon Kirakosyan basic school N 20 and  Grigor Zohrap high school N 97, attended by over 80 students.

 The NOU covered the issues of the ozone layer and protection from the harmful UV radiation through interactive communication with the students. Demonstration of the video «Precious Ozone: the Size of It» produced by the Ozone Secretariat and adopted in Amenian by the NOU, and the successful pilot testing of the intellectual eco-game «Planet is My Home: Ozone and Climate» inspired students a lot.  The Informatics Professor of School N 97 requested for a copy of the game to convert it further into a mobile application. The National Ozone Unit welcomed the initiative and promised to assist within its capacity.
