The awareness raising meeting was hold by the National Ozone Unit on February 20, 2020 at the invitation by «Yerang» Art Studio on their premises.

Ten students from five to ten years old participated in the interactive training which provided basic knowledge on the ozone layer as a natural shield, the ozone layer significance and dangers of its depletion.

The children were explained both the beneficial and harmful effects of the sun, the affects of UV rays on both human health, plant growth, development, fertility and the fauna.

The meeting was concluded by the hands-on session where the pupils prepared the thematic posters in groups, summarizing all the information delivered during the meeting. At the end all the participants received thematic journals and coloring notebooks.
